Instead of campus dorms, New Aberdeen utilizes community housing to maximize affordability and virtue-formation. The college matches students together or with host families to build life skills. New Aberdeen is minutes from housing in nearby downtown Harrisburg.

Debate Club
Students hone with their rhetorical skills and compete in the International Public Debate Association (IPDA)
Swing Dance Society
New Aberdeen students join weekly swing dance lessons and gatherings hosted at a nearby church
Hymn Sing
Students gather monthly for a hymn sing and fellowship with local like-minded young adults
Sea Breeze Society
The society leads gatherings to read and discuss old works of the Great Tradition, as C.S. Lewis reminds us to “keep the clean sea breeze of the centuries blowing through our minds”
Historic Tours
New Aberdeen leads regular excursions to experience historic and cultural sites, including the historic Biltmore Estate here in the mountains of North Carolina
