Scholarships

New Aberdeen is pleased to announce the following scholarship opportunities for the 2025-26 academic year. These are awarded during the admissions process on a first-come, first-served basis. 

J. Gresham Machen Scholarship

The J. Gresham Machen Scholarship is named after the scholar who staunchly defended conservative Reformed theology in the early twentieth century. This scholarship is awarded to deserving students from a traditional Presbyterian background with a demonstrated commitment to a Christian worldview, strong academic potential (including a CLT score of 95 or higher), and a desire to serve others.

C.S. Lewis Scholarship

Named after the great Medieval scholar, apologist, and author, the C. S. Lewis Scholarship is awarded to students with a demonstrated ability to think critically with a vivid imagination. Preference will be shown to students with a conservative Anglican background.

ACCS Scholarships

Students from ACCS member schools are eligible for a $1,000 scholarship. 

Denominational scholarships

Some donors designate their gifts toward students in a particular denomination. These funds are available while they last.

Discretionary Awards

Discretionary awards may also be awarded by the Admissions Committee.

Grace Presbyterian Church – Harrisburg

Students who have been members of Grace Presbyterian Church for a minimum of one year will receive an annual $2,500 scholarship.

Loans

The college accepts private loans only, but students are responsible to acquire these. No government monies may be used for tuition. In addition, payment plans are available to space out payments over the course of the school year, as detailed in our catalog.
